People matter
FareShare
We’re incredibly proud to work with FareShare, a unique charity aimed at tackling hunger and reducing food waste in the UK
They do this by retrieving perfectly good food and drink that would otherwise go to waste and share it with those in need.
As well as donating our surplus drinks to community groups, hostels and food banks, FareShare also helps by reducing landfill; something we’re really passionate about.
Since joining FareShare in 2018, our drinks have been gratefully received by 550 frontline charities and community groups across the UK and we continue to uphold a ‘zero waste to landfill’ policy. As well as supporting this national initiative, our local sites in Coleford, Uxbridge and Dublin donate any extra drinks to their local food banks, to make absolutely sure that none of our drinks are going to waste.

Grocery Aid
From factories to stores, Grocery Aid is dedicated to helping grocery colleagues in need by offering financial and emotional support.
People are at the heart of our business and they’re what make us tick. We don’t always know what life will throw at us but believe in standing by each other through times of good and bad, which is why teaming with Grocery Aid came as a natural fit.
With more than 700 employees working at LRS alone, we feel it’s important to support colleagues across the industry and this year have a number of fundraising initiatives taking place, including our team of colleagues cycling from London to Paris in aid of Grocery Aid.

We couldn’t help the thousands of grocery colleagues in need every day without the support and efforts of companies such as LRS
